Dame Vivienne Westwood was born in 1941 in Derbyshire, England.
Westwood is best known for her huge influence on the British punk scene. The Sex Pistols wore clothes from Vivienne Westwoods shop at their first gig.
The ‘Punk Style’ is very unique. It includes elements such as safety pins, razor blades, spiked dog collars on jewellery as well as outrageous make-up and hair. Scottish tartan fabric is also widely used.
Her designs are fantastic and unusual, below is a video of her 2010 collection which shows her quirky yet feminine style.
