Cathie Jung

Cathie Jung

I realised I couldn’t really do a corset blog without doing a post on Cathie Jung. Cathie Jung is in the Guinness book of world records for, the smallest waist on a living person.

Cathie started waist training in 1983 and has worn a corset for almost 24 hours a day ever since. Her corseted waist is 15 inches and uncorseted it is around 23 inches.

Waist training is a very dedicated practice and it takes years to achieve such a tiny waist, although very few people train down as small as Cathie. You begin waist training by wearing a corset 2-4 inches smaller then your natural waist as normal, then once you can lace that closed at the back you wear one 2 inches smaller then that and so on until you reach your desired corseted waist.

Below is Cathie Jung in her beautiful silver corset cover.

Although to a lot of people waist training to 15″ looks extreme Cathie says she has not suffered any ill health from doing so.

WOW! her waist is really really tiny!
to be honest i do think its right to want to have a waist that small!
i have a corset myself and am also thinking about waist training but woah, no way would i even think that going that small would be pretty!
Its way to tiny and if i were her i would rip it of and hope my body would even go a little bit like what it used to be.

In my opinion she get very fast out of breath, if you’re looking at the following picture:

I wish for such a waist… I can’t wear heavy-duty corsets yet, since my parents refuse to let me. (still under age, I xD )
In her silver corset she is truly beautiful. But at the first picture, you see too much fat/loose skin (e.g. at her shoulders). That ain’t beautiful.

I’m sorry, but that is disgusting. Whatever happened to being comfortable in your own skin? It’s one thing to want to hourglass figure, but that’s pushing it a little far. Not to mention how displaced your organs would be, as well as how it would affect your ability to eat and go the the bathroom regularly.

That is gross and a definite turn-off to most men and women alike. She clearly is an extreme example and probably sick in the head. Corsets are thin waists are sexy, this is night. It is the difference between going on a diet and being anorexic.

I hope that those photos are fake
