Caring For Your Corset

By following a few simple steps you can ensure that your Lady Waisted corset stays in good condition for many years to come.....

 

1.... It is very important that you never wash your corset. This will damage the steal bones inside. Instead the corset should be carefully cleaned by hand.

 

2.... Your corset does not need to be cleaned every time it is worn. When you do need to clean your corset, you must fina a dry cleaner who knows how to properly clean a corset. Be sure that they know the corset has steel bones inside.

 

3.... To keep your corset fresh, use a damp lint-free cloth to wipe down the lining. You can then hand the corset over the back of a chair to allow it to dry and air out.

 

4.... To properly store your corset, fold in half and place the laces over a plastic coat hanger (metal coat hangers may damage the material). Then simply hand in your wardrobe.

 

5.... Due to the force placed on the laces of your corset, the will occasionally need replacing. Only replace with strong, good quality laces.
